Years ago, I heard a song from Kenny Chesney “Don’t Blink” I liked it then, and I like it more now.
It's about how quickly life changes, putting first things first, appreciation, not being able to flip the hourglass over again. I have applied this song to personal and profession.
I will stick to profession here. The media has changed. The hourglass will not flip over (it is not going back). Every day people are switching away from traditional TV & they are cutting the cable cord.
More viewers now favor CTV. There is subscription-based CTV such as Hulu and Sling and there is completely FREE CTV. FAST -free ad-supported streaming TV is growing briskly. Some of the top-tier FAST networks/portals available are Pluto, Tubi & Roku. All of these are 100% free and brimming with content from every genre possible including video on demand, live news, sports, movies, and some even have originals such as all of the Quibi content available for free on the Roku channel.
