Dead one day, alive the next, Peloton response quick & clever.

On Friday 12/10 I posted about Peloton scrambling for damage control. It follows the proverbial expression “all publicity is good” – PT Barnum. I have never been a true believer in that expression, I tend to think it is all about how the publicity received is managed.

The popular show sex in the city is doing a sequel, as many shows are doing these days. In the reboot, a popular character, Mr. Big, dies after a 45-minute exercise session. Unfortunately for Peloton, he was riding one of their bikes.

Two days later 12/12 Peloton responds with a clever AD, including characters, a unique twist, and reinforcing the benefits of their product. Well done!
