CTV | OTT usage remains high, linear TV reverts to traditional viewing levels



On 4/21 I posted about video viewing habits being locked during the peak of the COVID pandemic https://bit.ly/2BCicw5 . “the way we consume and enjoy media has been changing for years. This new spike | has fundamentally accelerated growth for CTV OTT”.


Now there are some studies that are proving out this prediction. Nielsen revealed that linear TV viewing has moved back to normal levels, CTV | OTT usage remains at higher levels. For the week of May 4, there were 3.5 billion hours of streaming on CTV. https://bit.ly/3f188eF
