USA Today and 250 other publications owned by Gannett shipping jobs to India. Some workers will be tasked with training their replacements. I enjoyed working for Gannett many years ago. Times have changed and the newspaper industry Is in a world of hurt. I don't see any miraculous comeback. While this is a cost-cutting move, the timing is awful with many people displaced due to Covid. This is a post, not a judgment. I know how I feel about it and I will keep that to myself.
