Is Google Bard a challenge to Chat GPT?

I really enjoy using AI. I was amazed by ChatGPT, Google has just launched Bard. It is Googles version of an AI engine similar to ChatGPT. I asked it a few questions, some it could not answer. It does appear to be more up-to-date than ChatGPT. I need to experiment with Bard as I have with ChatGPT, time will tell
