When we say cord cutting we often mean cord shaving because many keep their high speed internet connection. That may become a thing of the past thanks to 5G. The new generation of cell service 5G will boost data and device connectivity. It is great for smartphones and laptops, but the goal is for 5G to become your home Internet service. Just like CTV | OTT, when competition enters consumers typically win. 5G will give consumers more choices than the 1 or 2 providers that now pass your home.
