With ESPN, FX, & local ABC being removed from Charter/Spectrum who cut the cord over the weekend

I cut the cord long ago. I really don't know if I should say I cut the cord or the cable company cut the cord for me.

They literally forced me to make the decision. They raised my high-speed Internet from $49 to $75 and then $95 a month just because I was a loyal customer and had stayed with them for a while. I am not sure that's how you treat good customers.

I live in Florida a lot of people here are Gator fans. When they went to cable to watch the game on ESPN it wasn't there. From the people I am exposed to there was a domino effect. and a huge echo of Cut The Cord. Pitchforks and torches started to surround the Charter Spectrum crumbling castle

Well, actually it wasn't so easy. I have heard the wait time to cancel cable was up to three hours. Well, at least that is a shorter window than waiting for the cable guy.

I don't know where this shakes out. Cable companies were being bombarded with cancellations way before this latest move. Disney and all the other streaming companies are trying to figure out how to make money from streaming. This is not an easy transition for either.

In the end believe most video, movie, and entertainment things will be streamed
