Stop raging against AI and use it to your advantage

Why do so many rush to label moving content "AI garbage" the moment it resonates? Let’s clear up the noise. Discover how real leaders are mastering AI tools to drive their thoughts further, faster, and smarter without sacrificing their authentic human voice.

Why do so many rush to label content "AI garbage" the moment it resonates?

A touching pet video or a funny porch pirates video. I know they are AI, but they are touching and or funny.

A thoughtful post? A human guided that . Machines are not thoughtful.

A good idea? Ideated and prompted by a person, polished by AI.

Half the people criticizing AI rely on it daily, just not effectively.

A few AI things I’ve noticed:

Bad AI content stands out instantly.
Usually, because the person behind it wants to sound smart about something they don’t actually understand. That’s not an AI problem. That’s a credibility problem wearing a chatbot costume.

If a post genuinely made you think before you found out AI helped polish it… the emotion still came from a human. AI didn’t live the experience. AI didn’t feel the frustration, excitement, fear, or joy. Someone did.

AI is a tool, not a replacement for intelligence, experience, creativity, or common sense.
A calculator doesn’t make someone a mathematician. A hammer doesn’t make someone a carpenter. And ChatGPT doesn’t magically turn nonsense into wisdom.

Here’s my reality:

I’m dyslexic. My spelling is a crime. My punctuation is atrocious.

I am creative, I have thoughts, and I know exactly what I want to say.

AI helps me structure my writing so people focus on the message rather than my writing violations. AI is my editor, not my voice.

I use AI every day in my CTV advertising business:

Building smarter audiences

Finding patterns that aren’t obvious

Optimizing campaigns while they’re live

Improving outcomes faster

I’m driving my thoughts, AI just helps me see further, move faster, improve accuracy.

I even used AI to redesign my living room. Uploaded photos. Tested furniture. Moved artwork around digitally. My wife and I kept tweaking it until we both said, “That’s it.” We were the designers, and AI was the tool that helped bring our vision to life before we spent a dime.

I am handy but not a boat mechanic. AI helped me fix my boat last weekend for $100. A 15-minute job that would have taken a week or more if I had to bring it to the shop.  It likely would have been 3X the cost.

The business lesson here:

Those mastering new tools always outperform those who resist.

Every generation fights the next wave.

The internet did not ruin business, it enhanced it.

Streaming will never beat cable. It already has.

Remote work can’t work. I have been doing it for 9 years.

That is AI garbage. One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Keep persuing greatness, you will get there faster with AI, just remember it is a tool and it is not always correct.

History proves these points every time.

Get on board or get left standing at the dock.
