I have recently had a few new clients ask what are the demographics of CTV OTT.

I ask them what are the demographics of their clients. 


I go a bit deeper and ask them to tell me who they are, what is the lifestyle, when do they purchase, where do the live, why would they utilize your company. 


The conversation shifts from age and gender to audience-centric targeting. 


With 3 out of 4 households having a connected TV device, the CTV | OTT audience is similar to the general population. See the differences in the chart.


The local CTV | OTT advertising magic happens when you layer big data, cross-device strategies, measurement, optimization...


After a bit of digging I did find a chart from the IAB that identified the broad CTV | OTT audience. I thought I would share
