I don’t know who originally said it. I looked it up. It’s been floating around for a while.

This quote resonated with me and I wanted to share. Strip away the analogy, the message is simple:.
No one wins by accident.
No one closes the deal they didn’t pursue.
No one builds the relationship they didn’t invest in.
No one grows the business they didn’t show up for.

Over the course of my career, the pattern has is clear, effort doesn’t guarantee success.
But success absolutely requires effort. Persistence isn’t flashy. Discipline isn’t viral.
Consistency rarely trends.
But they compound.

Maybe this quote is old news to many. I have never heard it before.
Sometimes the reminders we need aren’t new, they’re just timely.
