The 2026 National Championship was a barnburner. GO Indiana!
The 2026 National Championship was unforgettable.
My clients ran in-game, and that was thrilling.
While the game was captivating, the story behind the game hit me right in the heart. It didn’t happen under the bright lights of the field; it unfolded quietly, far from the roar of the crowd.
I am deeply moved by Fernando Mendoza and his family. I’ve never met them; I don't know them. This isn’t about likes or attention. Their story put a family and a focus on the silent battles that so many face, Multiple Sclerosis, a relentless disease impacting over a million Americans (1 out of every 350 people). Multiple sclerosis rarely gets the attention it deserves, so I wanted to share while it’s fresh in people’s minds.
Fernando’s mother, once a college tennis star, hid her MS for years to protect her children’s innocence. I know many quietly fighting similar battles, shielding loved ones from worry while carrying unimaginable weight alone. But eventually, the truth emerges. No one should have to walk this path in silence or isolation. We can be the voices and support they desperately need.

MS slowly steals independence, mobility, and clarity of thought. Many people rely on walkers or wheelchairs, often while looking “fine” on the outside. Because it’s quiet, it’s easy to overlook. And because it’s overlooked, it’s underfunded.
The business lesson?
The biggest impacts, at work or in life, often go unseen. Supporting Bike MS shows real values: empathy, purpose, and resilience. Purpose-driven action builds trust, inspires teams, and proves people matter as much as profit.
Every year, I ride in Bike MS to fund research, raise awareness, and to stand with the families fighting in silence.
If this story touched you, even in a small way, please stand with me on March 28, 2026. Let’s make MS impossible to ignore, and bring hope to those who need it most.
