It has been said it is hard to define talent, but you know it when you see it.
I say some people have a knack for seeing it, and polishing the gold.
I have been fortunate to have some coaches and I am always looking for people who can bring out the best in me, teach me more about marketing, advertising, local CTV | OTT advertising. Two shows personify this,
Songland & America's Got Talent.
I am amazed by the level of coaching going on on both of these shows (harder to see on AGT, but it's there).
On Songland a group of talented artists listen to songwriters. They collaborate, adjust, add or take out beats and lyrics, look for the meaning of a song and enhance it to touch the masses. Americas Got Talent -Simon Cowell- a little girl started singing a song. She was average at best. Mid song Simon stopped her and said. The song is overpowering you. Pleases sing a cappella. She was clearly scared but was absolutely amazing-transformed
